The Shortcut is a non-for profit organisation that encourages more people from diverse backgrounds to consider creating or working for a startup to best utilise their skills and aspirations. We inspire and empower our community through events, workshops, trainings and programmes.

Hungry for experience? We are looking for interns who want to showcase their talents and show what they are made of. Are you one of them?

You have:

• Amazing people skills, high motivation
• A passion for community building and event planning
• Curiosity about other cultures and traditions
• Worked in a fun and dynamic environment like a theme park, startup or hospitality business
• Self-motivated, creative and ready to motivate the team

Maybe you already have:

• Experience in the hospitality business or startup
• Experience as an event planner, wedding planner or party planner

Among other things, you will:

• Be the face of The Shortcut at The Shortcut Lab
• Create an environment that make people feel welcome and at home but where they can also get work done
• Work with the team to create social events that engage alumni and other members of the community to always keep new ideas flowing
• Build networks among The Shortcut and create an amazing environment that is welcome and inclusive

Duration of the internship:

4-6 month full-time, day or evening shift

This internship can be completed for credit if arranged in advance with your university.
