We're looking for an experienced full-stack developer to take control of our software stack and steer development. Our arsenal of tech includes nodejs, postgresql, typescript, react and AWS ECS. We have amazing industry partners. We work out of Maria 01 and we take good food very seriously.

The tech

Our back-end is built on postgresql, nodejs, typescript. We also like go.

We use docker and convox to deploy to an AWS ECS Cluster.

Our front-end is built on react, redux, rx-observable and typescript. We use typestyle for css-in-js and d3 for dynamic, interactive visualisations.

We build all our typescript projects with fuse-box.

Ideally you're great working with all of these, but we’re flexible with our choice of technology and are open to change, if well reasoned.

Your role

Day to day, expect to work closely with our CEO, who has (thus far) been our main software developer. We’ll expect you to take ownership of steering and contributing to both front-end and back-end development, prioritizing and expediting tasks on both fronts.

You will collaborate closely with our design team, front-end developers and technical partners to develop new features for our SAAS product and be responsible for it’s health.

You'll be expected to track and stay aware of general usage analytics, and make educated, well-reasoned decisions about our platforms and system design.

You'll contribute to improving our dev ops, extending it and handling deployments as necessary. You'll be responsible for acceptance testing and ensuring a standard of quality prior to production deployments.

You’ll also be consistently on the search for opportunities to improve and evolve our platform, investigate new technology or recruit new talent.

Aside from that, we’re expecting you to have great English speaking skills, a willingness to represent yourself publicly at events or for the media, and a desire to build an online brand & presence.
