Proximi.io is the first technology-agnostic positioning platform. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a fullstack developer (backend/frontend). You may join either as a salaried employee or a freelancer, according to your preferences. You may work 100% remotely, but preference for candidates working in European timezones. This is preliminarily a temporary position of 6 months’ time but may be turned into a permanent position.

Skills and Competencies

• Node.js (and JavaScript in general)
• The Go Programming Language (not mandatory but a plus)
• Angular framework
• RethinkDB and other database solutions
• RabbitMQ
• ElasticSearch
• Sysadmin experience on Linux environments
• Git
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful API's (preferably OpenAPI experience / knowhow)
• Familiarity with enterprise level software development practices (agile methodology, sprints, version control systems, issue tracking tools, local build environments)
• Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
