ParkMan is a fast growing community-based platform that connects car drivers with the best parking companies. Our mission is to make it easy for car drivers to find the best parking options, interact with parking companies, and pay for parking in real time whenever they need parking. We help parking providers to connect with their customers in a way that makes parking as easy as ordering an Uber.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a PHP/MySQL Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be on the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

To succeed in this position, you should be a team player who is comfortable completing tasks and projects together and independently, a great communicator in person and on paper and comfortable delivering on a strict schedule. You have genuine interest in using your skills to help take ParkMan to the next level.

What we would appreciate from you:

• You have experience in software development

• Excellent knowledge of PHP web frameworks and design patterns

• Excellent knowledge of MySQL

• Basic understanding of Javascript, HTML and CSS

• Experience with Git

• Knowledge of NoSQL, microservices and big data is considered a plus

• Fluent in English (our company language)
