We are seeking for a partnership sales manager who will build and enhance our revenue models. Are you the kind of person that has a talent for business development and is not afraid to pick up the phone? Are you excited to identify new sales leads and lock down deals?

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to accelerate our activities by achieving our annual business objectives and revenue targets

 

Stuff you will be up to (responsibilities):

  • Business Development and Sales
  • Develop local and international partnerships that lead to stable revenue
  • Maintain and develop the commercial partner database
  • Pro-actively source new partners and build programmes together 
  • Use different means to reach out to companies and lock down sponsorships
  • Develop new business opportunities and a strong market network
  • Develop and deliver creative partnership proposals
  • Manage ongoing sales leads to help The Shortcut locking down sponsorships and other revenue flows
  • Conduct market research and data analysis to help build powerful and persuasive proposals based on the company’s objectives and the business needs of potential clients
  • Conceptualisations of Content 
  • Identifying the interest from the partners, translate their needs into customised proposals 
  • Create visually appealing marketing material and proposals
  • Manage a team of interns and volunteers

 

You could be our new team member if you: 

  • Have experience in business development and sales
  • Work well with sales targets
  • Are process-oriented and analytical
  • Are socially and professionally well-connected and have an outgoing personality
  • Are highly representable and comfortable with pitches, sales calls, presentations, public speaking
  • Have a good visual sense, you can build impressive slides and keep the partners engaged
  • Are quick to adapt: you can adapt the pitch and your presentation on the spot while keeping the The Shortcut’s big picture in mind 
  • Have a growth mindset, are optimistic, and not skeptical 
  • Can work across teams on a matrix management level

 

It would be nice if you:

  • Have the understanding of and passion for high growth entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem in Finland
  • Have experience in fast growing business
  • Can do the tasks in Finnish as well as English

Timeline and Details 

This will be a full time, paid position. The initial contract will be signed for three months, November 2018 - January, 2019. After this period and depending on the progress of the deliverables and the overall funding status, the contract is meant to be renewed for the rest of 2019.
