Kaiku Health is a digital platform for patient-reported outcome monitoring. It's a fast and easy way for clinics to connect with their patients online and capture data on the efficacy of therapies. Kaiku Health is currently used for digital patient monitoring in cancer care, fertility care and occupational health care. Our mission is to improve quality of life through health data science. We are looking for experienced UX designer to take the user experience of Kaiku Health from good to great.

We are looking for experienced UX designer to help take the user experience of Kaiku Health from good to great. You will be working in close co-operation with our developers, UX designers and visual designer, developing and improving our core product.

What you will do

• Create compelling and well thought-out design solutions, see them through to the end product, iterate and improve. Instead of focusing on deliverables, you work in a lean way, care about what actually gets shipped and work in close collaboration with our developers. We ship early and often and you see that as an opportunity
• Perform design research for new features and improvements as well as for shaping our product strategy
• Participate in the design and development of our in-house design system
• Shape and improve our design and development processes, tools and practices

What we expect

• Strong skills in interaction design and concept design
• Experience in user research, prototyping and usability testing
• Fluent communication in English (Finnish, German and/or Swedish is a plus)
• A creative thinker who can tackle complex problems and think strategically
• Passion and motivation: You care deeply about design and the people using our product. You love to challenge yourself (and us!) and are curious to learn new things. You enjoy helping and teaching others
• Proficiency in UI design tools
• A relevant degree

• Have experience developing or working with design systems
• Understand analytics and data-driven design
• Have basic coding skills
