WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer who will join the team focusing on the monetization side of the product and help develop solutions that enable our business to grow and scale. You’ll be working in an independent team and take ownership of major parts of the product’s monetization and payment flows. You’ll have a unique opportunity to profoundly impact the lives of hundreds of millions of future musicians worldwide and re-imagine the way music education works.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll work with the team’s web stack that includes both user-facing checkout and payment flows as well as integration with our payment solutions on the backend.

Take ownership of the implementation of web pages using modern web front-end technologies.

Work closely with product managers and designers to understand and translate business requirements into high-quality code.

Maintainability, robustness and clean code considerations are always on your mind and you make sensible trade-offs between performance, readability, maintenance and resource usage.

Actively participate in code reviews, while keeping an open mind about the processes we use and suggest improvements.

WHO YOU ARE:

Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with common JavaScript tools and frameworks like React and Redux.

You have a strong interest in learning/discovering new front-end technologies.

Good understanding of building fully responsive and efficient web sites. Proficiency with existing responsive frameworks is a plus.

Experience working with REST-based API backend (our stack: Python, Flask, MongoDB) is a plus.
