I am looking for help to run and grow a self-service bike rental based in Frederiksberg near CBS, the role can include some or all of the following tasks:

Operations:

• Check returned bikes for damages and release deposits in the evening

• Perform bike maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating and tightening

• Describe to the visiting bike mechanic what needs fixing or fix yourself

• Assist customers to take their bikes and gear with a smile on-site or remotely via smart cameras

• Maintain order in the bike garage

• Deliver bikes to hotels

• Respond to online inquiries

• Improve support bot, website, booking system

Growth:

• Liaise with accommodation providers and build partnerships

• Run ads on search and social media

• Create incentives for customers to share their experience

• your own ideas

Guiding:

• run 2-3 hours private tours

  
  

Need to have:

• decent command of English

• can-do attitude

• comfortable getting hands dirty

• service-minded

• available some mornings between 0900 - 1030

Make it easier to be successful fast:

• handy person, experience with bikes

• hacker-type

• experience in the service / hospitality industry

• Multi-lingual (German, French, Italian, Spanish... but also other languages)

What I can offer:

• get mentored to work in and build an experience-based business

• DKK 130 / hour; minimum of 43 hours / month guaranteed

• mix between off-screen people work and remote, flexible screen work

The ideal candidate loves cargo bikes, biking culture, has lived in Copenhagen for a few years, lives near Frederiksberg so leaving to work for 1-2 hours at a time isn’t perceived a big hassle and some day wants to have his / her own experience-based business so learning those skills is relevant for the future.
