Thank you for considering applying for this internship at Sustainia.
We receive several applications per day and will get back to you if we see an immediate match. We are not able to take individual calls or meetings ahead of the selection process and encourage you to look at our website or social media channels for information on what we do and how we simplify sustainability.
Start in 2024. As an intern at Analyst level at Sustainia, you will be part of an ambitious workplace that specializes in strategic consulting and fact-based storytelling for sustainable organizations. We work for private and public organizations with global ambition.
Please state in your application if you are fluent in German, as this is an absolute plus.
We focus on simplifying sustainability - from ESG to case writing and creative communications. Every day we distill complexity and solve problems for clients through analysis and strategic communication. You will participate in various projects that often involve research into sustainable solutions and trends, writing assignments for our publications and online platforms, project scoping, idea generation, and a variety of ad hoc assignments. The assignments are typically a mix of research and communication.
The internship is open to both students who are currently enrolled in a master's degree and recent graduates with similar experience. Your academic background must be based on sustainability, and you must have strong competencies in research, written production and communication.
We are interested in people who are independent, possess the wit and mind and the ability to take initiative and deliver results. You also need to be flexible and open to new challenges.
Again, we are particularly excited if you are fluent in German. As we work with a mix of international customers, you must master the English language verbally and in writing.
With us much of our client work is done remotely, so we welcome people who care for a remote or hybrid work place. Starting time can be flexible, and we are open for internships lasting 4 to 6 months and four to five days a week. We provide a scholarship of DKK 3,000 monthly (b-income) and if you are with us five days a week, you can take a monthly day off. Work is flexible though, and we are prepared to offer time off in peak times on an individual basis.
We often get quite many applications. If we see a match, we will invite you to a virtual conversation, perhaps a written research and writing assignment (in English), followed by an interview before we make a final selection and return with an offer. If you do not hear from us it may be that the timing is not right or your qualifications do not match our current needs or project portfolio.
As you apply, please upload a brief cover letter plus resume (in one file) and a link to your LinkedIn profile. If you are op for it, please also include a short (max 1 minute) video explaining a bit more about yourself. You could for example include;
what types of tasks you would love to work on (visit our site for inspiration on our work),
whether you have had experience with case writing or ESG reporting,
whether you have particularly good knowledge of one or more industries (e.g. finance, food, mobility, construction, etc.),
whether you have experience with digital tools (e.g. for project management or marketing),
what parts of your life that make you most happy.
Thank you in advance - we are looking forward to hearing from you.
