Role overview: 

Senior full-stack engineer to work on almost all aspects of the platform.

Being an advocate for best software engineering practices across both front- and back-end development, with a keen interest in building customer-facing features and establishing a solid infrastructure.

Key responsibilities: 

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, optimizing for efficiency and reliability across software development cycles

• Develop robust web servers using Typed Python, e.g., with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Pydantic

• Craft and maintain our website/front-end using TypeScript and Vue.js, ensuring an exceptional user experience

• Design, model, and implement SQL databases, adhering to best practices in database management and development

• Implement and enforce automated code formatting and linting standards for TypeScript and Python to ensure code quality

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering within web settings

• Proficient in typed Python development, specifically with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Pydantic; experienced in building front-ends with major frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.js

• Knowledgeable in running on and configuring cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean, with a preference for DigitalOcean) and Git & GitHub
