Bitwards Access Platform™ is a remote access management ecosystem that allows access sharing within minutes to wide range of physical assets via a mobile application. System works offline and allows to easily convert any physical asset into a smart digital service.

Bitwards is looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join the Bitwards Access platform development team. You will join a highly skilled and motivated team that will help you succeed in your new role.

You will be a key member of the team and we expect you to take substantial responsibility for the backend development. You will be implementing cloud services to the Amazon Web Services platform. Our services have been implemented using AWS components with Java and Spring among other technologies. Knowledge and experience of Amazon Web Services is appreciated.   

To succeed in this role, you should have relevant prior backend development experience. We also appreciate experience from personal projects. This position is ideal for a person who is looking for a responsible role and is willing to take responsibility and to grow into a leading role.  

We look for:

• You can master backend development with J2EE or Spring
•  Experience from cloud services such as Amazon Web Services
•  Experience of implementing REST services  
•  Interest for micro service architecture and serverless services
•  Knowledge for use of relational databases such as Postgres
•  Fluency in English
•  Relevant educational background (e.g. computer science or other)
•  You are a team player
•  Developing skills: Git, test driven development, continuous integration, Linux
