Frank is changing students’ lives for the better. Since 2013, Frank has introduced Finland’s first digital student ID, reached over 70k monthly users and grown from an idea into a 15 person innovation hub based in the heart of Helsinki. As of fall 2019, big things are happening for us. Our market leading service has just opened for all 700,000 students in Finland, and thus doubled its user potential. This is a start of a whole new chapter, and for it, we are now looking for our next CEO.

Main responsibilities

As a CEO, your mission is to lead Frank towards further growth and development. On a strategic level, your focus will be on these areas:

• Sparring with the board and your team to take Frank’s user acquisition, retention and monetization to a whole new level

• Find and build new opportunities and partnerships nationally and internationally

• Liaising with owners and leading the company in a profitable growth path, while ensuring sufficient financing for it

Required business experience

We expect you to be capable of high-quality strategic thinking, to develop and justify your vision on how Frank should be run, and executing that vision with your team. We at Frank believe in learning by doing, but for this position you should already have a proven track record and knowledge on

• Leadership of a team, business area or a (small/growth) company

• Creation of a strategy and roadmapping it with business KPIs

• Implementing the approved strategy and roadmap

• Running different parts of a growing company, including business planning, dealing with finances and accounting, building the company culture, recruiting new team members, product management, sales and marketing

We also highly appreciate

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English

• Interest towards both B2C (student life!) and B2B sides of our business

• Capabilities to coach product, sales and marketing teams

• Capabilities to analyze different business options, and to make and justify decisions

• Eye for empathy and team-building

• Capable management of relationships with our different stakeholders, including student organizations, business partners and governmental bodies
