The Shortcut is a non-for profit organisation that encourages more people from diverse backgrounds to consider creating or working for a startup to best utilise their skills and aspirations. We inspire and empower our community through events, workshops, trainings and programmes.

You have:

• Natural skills to connect with and engage people
• A passion for pitching complex and simple ideas to different kind of audiences
• Meticulous attention to details and strong organizational skills
• Ability to take ownership of a task or process, and see it through from inception to completion
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, detail oriented, and deadline-driven

Maybe you even have:

• Experience in building communities
• Managing logistics of places and events

Among other things, you will:

• Be the face of The Shortcut at The Lab
• Create an environment that makes people feel welcome and at home but also where they can work and get stuff done
• Work with the team to create content and programs that engage alumni and other members of the community to always keep new ideas flowing
• Build networks among The Shortcut and relevant organizations

This internship starts asap and lasts 4-6 months. It can be completed for credit if arranged in advance with your university.
