We're on a mission to fight depression – and help millions of people to live happier, healthier lives. Launched in Finland Oct 2018, Lifeclass brings scalable support to both people living with depression and their loved ones. Our experienced team is backed by top healthcare professionals and startup investors. We're now looking for a marketing intern to join the team.

There are 350 million people currently suffering from depression. One in five Finns experiences major depressive disorder during their lives. Every single one of us faces depression in the role of a friend, colleague or family member.

Our mission is to reduce the number of suicides and the amount of suffering caused by mental disorders. Lifeclass' premium online classes help both people with depression and their loved ones to better cope with the difficult situation. 

The service was launched in Finland in Oct 2018 with large-scale media attention (Huomenta Suomi, HS, IS, IL, KL, Me Naiset...) and support from a number of influencers (Arman, Mikko Leppilampi, Jenni Rotonen...). We'll be expanding abroad with an English product version in 2019.

In addition to building a consumer brand we also work with healthcare providers, pension funds and companies to bring scalable support to people in need.

The team and advisor board consist of experienced founders, psychiatrists, psychologists, and well-known startup investors. The founder of the company was previously CEO and founder of Venuu.

Now looking for: Marketing intern

In a nutshell:

• Main tasks: Content, social media, planning and executing marketing campaigns
• Requirements: Super writing skills, confidence, drive to learn fast, previous marketing / comms experience a plus
• Start: Negotiable, but preferrably asap (during Nov / Dec).
• Type: Full-time. Part-time negotiable.
• Comp: Salary TBD
• Office: Maria 01, Kamppi, Helsinki

Main tasks:

• Content (blog, newsletters, social media...)
• Planning and executing marketing, PR, influencer and blogger campaigns
• As a full-on member of the team, you'll be able to take part in everything we do (product, site, sales, marketing...)

Requirements:

• You'll need to be able to write. Extremely well. In Finnish.
• Previous experience in marketing / comms a plus
• Growth mindset
• Background in psychology considered a bonus (not a must)
• Wellbeing, health and the themes we're dealing with feel meaningful to you
