Aurora Exchange is a p2p lending and borrowing platform that quickly and easily connects creditworthy borrowers with investors on fair terms to make the financial system more cost efficient. Building the AirBnB of financing!

We are looking for a passionate PHP/MYSQL developer to develop, manage our back-end services and API’s.  Your primary focus will be the development of all back-end logic, making sure the backend is fast, responsive and perfectly working with API’s. Your work will also revolve around making the platform stable and scalable. You will also be working with the front-end developer to connect the server side, hence a basic understanding of front-end languages is also required.

Strictly PHP background is not a requirement, if you have any strong object oriented programming language background this is for you.

What you will do:

• Implement new API’s to the backend and improve the old one.
• Write excellent algorithms to speed up processing in the backend.
• Create complicated SQL queries to satisfy hard core data crunching.
• See that the backend is hack proof.
• Insure that the platform is scalable.
• Review codes.
• Test codes.
• Create solutions from scratch and be ready to deploy.

What we are looking for:

• Experienced in PHP or PHP based web frameworks.
• Knowledge of object oriented programming.
• Knowledge of MVC programming.
• You know your way around REST based API development.
• Can write SQL queries.
• Experienced in JavaScript or JS frameworks.
• Experienced with GIT.
• Fluent in English.
• Have 5+ years skills in software development.
