We are looking for a tech evangelist to demonstrate Aiven's thought leadership and increase brand awareness by producing content and presenting at conferences. As our tech evangelist, you will be responsible for producing and presenting engaging, shareable content in multiple formats and channels to communicate Aiven’s thought leadership and increase brand awareness. You will coordinate with a designer to produce visual assets for your pieces, and the digital marketing specialist to plan a robust content strategy and schedule. Because you will be producing content for a technical audience, you need to be able to quickly grasp technical concepts, understand why they matter, and effectively communicate their value proposition.
Duties:
- Produce product documentation, blog posts, infographics, eBrooks, tech guides, whitepapers, and webinars
- Actively participate in forum and social media channels
- Assist in ideation, creation, and delivery of convention and meetup presentations
- Collaborate with digital marketing specialist to create content strategy and schedule
- Collaborate with designer to create visual assets for pieces
- Collaborate with stakeholders for product/technical overview
Experience:
- Background in database and cloud computing
- Demonstrated background in creating content for a technical audience
- Experience in researching and participating in forums
- Experience working across various teams
- Awareness of trends in cloud computing and DBaaS
Abilities and interests:
- Interest in technology, programming, and cloud computing
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Familiarity with forums, social media platforms, and content management systems
- Ability and willingness to work under own initiative
